French Switzerland (wine and gastronomy) This region has 15,000 hectares of vineyards. Only three kilometres separate the French border from the region of Geneva where the country’s greatest concentration of vines are found. Regarding food, although cheese is the most popular and demanded product, the Swiss cuisine is varied and goes ideally with a good wine.
